# bluSwap API Documentation

> Integrate payment collections and payouts with bluSwap. Accept payments via UPI, cards, and net banking — or send funds to verified beneficiaries.

bluSwap provides REST APIs for merchant payment collections and fund payouts. Use the Collections API to accept incoming payments from customers via UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking. Use the Payouts API to securely transfer funds to verified beneficiaries through IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, or UPI.

## How It Works

**1. Authenticate**

Get your merchant API key from the dashboard. Pass it as `x-api-key` on every request. Whitelist your server IP where required.

**2. Configure your callback URL**

Set up your webhook callback URL before processing live transactions so you receive real-time payment status updates.

**3. Choose a product**

Use **Collections** to accept incoming payments from customers. Use **Payouts** to send funds to vendors, employees, or partners.

**4. Go live**

Initiate transactions, monitor status via callbacks or the status endpoint, and manage refunds as needed.
